GOFASTBUSINESS. IN MOTION.

THE LAUNCH GUIDE / GET THE FOUNDATIONS RIGHT

Progress starts
with a clear plan.

Connect the service to the business outcome. Keep the move under control.

Begin with the application path.

List the sites, people and applications that must stay connected. Review access, wireless, routing and the remote service before deciding that bandwidth alone is the answer. Specify a backup route and how people will work if the primary service fails.

Ask for premises-specific availability, installation dependencies, support responsibilities and the full commercial terms. GoFast does not run an automated supplier availability search.

Make every call intentional.

Choose between local 01/02 presence, UK-wide 03 and 0800 according to the people calling and the business use. Switch Numbers describes business numbers and virtual-office features; Switchconnect provides communications information. Confirm the current product, charges and configuration directly.

Keeping an existing number

Gather the account details and identify every service attached to the line. Confirm portability, dependencies, authorisation and the agreed transfer plan with the receiving provider. Do not cancel the existing service before the transfer arrangements are agreed. A number move can affect associated services, so plan testing and fallback before cutover.

Design the unanswered call

Map opening hours, greetings, team destinations, voicemail and overflow. Test a normal call, a busy team, a closed office and an unavailable destination. Give someone clear responsibility for keeping that routing current.

Own your digital foundations.

For domains, email and hosting, identify the registrant, renewal owner, DNS access and the people responsible for migration. Keep backups and agree how the new website and mail service will be checked before switching traffic. FAST Domains is a useful destination for its current products and terms.

Make automation earn its place.

Start with a repeated task and an accountable owner. Compare quality, completion time and correction effort. Keep confidential information inside its approved boundary; a cloud preference does not authorise data transfer. Give agents scoped tools and require human approval for consequential actions.

Inference placement is a design decision: compare local, private and approved cloud processing against real tasks, quality, demand and cost. No model, live integration or automated calling service is activated by this website.

A useful handover has evidence.

Before

Capture the current configuration, ownership, dependencies and success criteria.

After

Test the agreed service, failure path and support route. Record what changed and who owns it.
